Richard Mosse's 'Infra' Series

Deep magenta-colored trees, tall blades of pink grass and rolling violet hills...

This is what you will see in the upcoming 'Infra' series at the Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool. Richard Mosse, the photographer responsible for the beautiful images of war-torn Congo, used an infrared film by Kodak called Aerochrome, a false-color reversal film.

As a result, all greens have turned into colors you would normally find in a Dr. Seuss story. See more images at Mosse's site.

Notice the "Lick That Shit" t-shirt..
